Hi! I am Dustie Lanier Erik (’06), and I am thrilled to introduce myself to you.

As a proud Wake Forest University alumna and the mother of future Deacs, Anna Jane (Class of 2042) and Oliver (Class of 2044), I have a deep love for all things Gold and Black. I find it so rewarding to be part of this incredible community and to work in a role that truly inspires and energizes me every day.

I grew up in a small town just outside of Winston-Salem, Welcome, North Carolina, and yes, there is a sign Welcome to Welcome! I was fortunate to attend Wake Forest University thanks to the generosity of a scholarship — an opportunity that shaped my life and fuels my passion for the work I do today.

What I cherish most about my work is the chance to meet people and build meaningful connections. I am here to be a resource for you. I am eager to share with you all the ways you can engage with Wake Forest and to explore how we can connect with you. We are an extraordinary, vibrant community dedicated to living the Pro Humanitate mission, and I can’t wait to hear how Wake Forest has touched your life.

If you would like to learn more about what is happening in your WAKECommunity, please reach out to me at lanierdn@wfu.edu or (336) 758-5464. I can’t wait to connect with you and, as always, Go Deacs!
