Meet Marty Jo Denny

Hi! My name is Marty Jo Denny, and I have been a resident of Winston-Salem since 2002. All 3 of my children have grown up cheering on the Demon Deacons. For years my laundry skills included the removal of grass and mud stains from playing on and rolling down Deacon Hill during the football games.

In 2019, I joined the Wake Forest University Advancement team, and I genuinely enjoy building and nurturing relationships with individuals who share a common bond with the university. Each interaction allows me to hear unique stories and perspectives that highlight the impact Wake Forest has had on their lives.

In my free time, I enjoy attending sporting events, days on the lake, golfing/playing tennis and traveling. I am always grateful for any and all time that I get to spend with my husband, Jeff, our family and our Labrador Retriever, Bally (named after Ballybunion Golf Club in Ireland).

I am passionate about serving as your Philanthropy & Donor Engagement lead in WAKECharleston and co-lead in WAKECharlotte, and I look forward to working with you all.
