WAKEAtlanta Kickoff Party
3:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Join Atlanta Wake Foresters and their families in celebrating the start of the school year and welcoming those who are new to the area with a kickoff party at Chastain Park. We'll enjoy complimentary King of Pops, connect with the WAKEAtlanta community and do a little good while we're at it! Attendees are encouraged to bring a backpack filled with school supplies to donate to Garden Hills Elementary School. Last year they received 21 backpacks thanks to Atlanta Deacs and their Pro Humanitate spirit — let's try and beat that number this year!

School of Business alumni are invited to this drop-in style gathering designed to bring Atlanta area Biz Deacs together! Stop by and meet Interim Dean for the School of Business, Dr. Norma Montague. Light breakfast, juice and coffee will be available. Registration is required. You are invited to register one guest. We hope you'll join us to kick off your day in black and gold! Hosted locally by Alumni Council member Bryan Chitwood ('97, P '29).

Atlanta - WAKE NOW Luncheon

The conversation begins with a simple question: Tell us about a time someone showed you Pro Humanitate before you had a word for it. Join fellow Atlanta Wake Forest alumnae for a luncheon designed around conversation, connection, and the stories that have shaped us. Around small tables, we’ll reflect on the people and moments that have shown us what it means to live Pro Humanitate—and how, as Wake Forest women, that spirit continues to show up in the ways we lead, care for, mentor, and make a difference in the lives around us. We’ll share good food, thoughtful questions, and the opportunity to listen, connect, and discover something new about one another.

WAKEAtlanta invites you to kick off the weekend at our Thursday evening gathering — an evening with Wake Foresters, hosted by your Atlanta community. Pro Humanitate in Action
WAKEAtlanta started the 2025–26 school year off strong with an afternoon of great company, delicious treats and generous spirits at the Atlanta Kick-off Party on September 7, 2025. Thanks to the incredible bunch who came out to celebrate at Chastain Park, Garden Hills Elementary School received a donation of 21 backpacks full of school supplies. What an incredible display of Pro Humanitate in the community we call home!
