Wake Forest University School of Business presents candid conversations with industry leaders on how their organizations are using AI. This is the first session offered in the Leadership Series. How AI Is Rewriting the Marketing Playbook: Lessons from an Advertising Agency Executive A Conversation with Ged King, former CEO of Sales Factory Professor of Practice and Academic Director Digital Marketing and AI, School of Professional Studies Optional Networking Reception | 5:30 - 6:20 p.m. Conversation with Ged King | 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Note: This session is offered on two consecutive days. You are registering for Tuesday, October 6, in Charlotte. No AI background is necessary to attend. Open to the WFU community and free to the public. Registration is required. Charlotte Deacs turned up in droves to support the Wake Forest baseball team in a "home away from home" baseball game against Clemson at Truist Field on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Ahead of the game, guests enjoyed early access to the ballpark and rooftop hospitality at a Wake Forest pre-game gathering!

Wake Forest Law alumni, current students, and fellow Wake Forest alumni and parents in the legal field gathered for a summer happy hour at Charlotte Beer Garden on August 6, 2025.

Charlotte Wake Foresters volunteered at Friendship Gardens Urban Farm on April 21, 2018, as one of two Charlotte Pro Humanitate Days projects.

Call for Volunteers

Join WFU alumni in helping Charlotte elementary students build foundational math skills and confidence! Heart Math Tutoring is seeking volunteers to spend 30 minutes or one hour per week with a student playing fun, hands-on math games and providing encouragement.
