NYC - School of Business Alumni Holiday Happy Hour
6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
Soak in the stunning evening views of Bryant Park at our exclusive School of Business Holiday Happy Hour! We’ve secured a special spot - join us for a sophisticated evening on the 25th floor of the Grace building, with stunning evening views of Bryant Park. This one-of-a-kind setting is perfect for our festive gathering! And for a special treat, faculty members Dr. Ajay Patel and Dr. Jon Duchac, in addition to Dean Annette Ranft, will be joining the celebration and ready to share a holiday toast with you. Reconnect with fellow business alumni, share in the festive spirit, and make new connections over casual conversation. Your $15 registration fee includes two drink tickets (beer/wine) and hors d'oeuvres. Guests are welcome, but registration is required. Please note that the final registration deadline of November 25 is firm. We encourage everyone to dress in their favorite festive holiday attire!

Young Alumni Mentoring Group (NYC)

Are you looking to gain clarity on who you are and how your work aligns with what’s important to you? Would you like to do this work while building a strong network of Wake Forest alumni? Since 2013, Young Alumni Mentoring Groups have provided a unique opportunity for hundreds of Wake Forest young professionals to come together for facilitated conversation, reflection, action planning, and to make meaningful connections about life and work. Mentoring groups are deep-dive, facilitated, professional development opportunities. Participants are expected to attend all meetings. These groups are open to alumni who graduated from the Undergraduate College only, in class years 2021 – 2024. In addition to the group experience you’ll get individual coaching along the way and leave with an action plan for what’s next, for you.

New Manager Mentoring Group (NYC)
6:30 P.M. - 8:30 P.M.
Are you new to a management role or aspiring to move into one in the future? Are you wondering how to effectively lead people to meet organizational goals while still effectively performing your role? Do you know how to coach, give feedback, uphold accountability, and support other people's career paths? New Manager Mentoring Groups are for those who are grappling with these questions and thinking about how to grow both personally and professionally. Together with a small group of committed Wake Forest alumni, you will discuss books, articles, videos, and podcasts to inform your thinking; share strategies and feedback; and receive one-on-one coaching, so that you may identify strengths and key areas of growth to move to the next level for you personally and professionally. Mentoring groups are deep-dive, facilitated, professional development opportunities. Participants are expected to attend all meetings. These groups are open to alumni who graduated from the Undergraduate College only, and who identify as new to management or aspiring to a management-level position in the near future. In addition to the group experience you’ll get individual coaching along the way and leave with an action plan for what’s next for you.

We are back in the Big Apple, and we'd love for you to join us! The Wake Forest School of Business invites you to our annual "An Evening with the School of Business" reception in the City - a lively night of networking, conversation and community. You'll have the chance to: Connect with School of Business alumni and parents in the NYC area Meet undergraduate students on the Pre-Wall Street Career Trek Chat with faculty and staff from the School Hear from Dean Annette Ranft who will offer brief remarks around 6:45 p.m. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served; your $10 registration fee includes two drink tickets.
